Well as you can imagine photographing a wedding in the lake district, is the perfect job for any wedding photographer, and as Dave and Chrissy were good friends of mine, it made it even more special to be there for them, and capture their wedding day for them, as i expected Armathwaite hall, was just the most stunning wedding venue, the day started off photographing the bride to be be, in the bridal suite, with its spiral staircase and picturesque lakeside view, all the bridesmaid's made it a very relaxed morning for the bride to be, whilst the girls were finishing off getting ready, it was great to go and meet the groom, best man and ushers for some  pre wedding shots .Being in the lakes the weather was very changeable, so there was lots of high winds, which brought sunshine and rain, and the high winds really played a part in the group shots, as i climbed up the spiral staircase to the top of the turret, so that i could shoot down for the group shots, and believe me it was very windy, After the wedding we took some time out and went down to the lake for some beautiful shots of the newlyweds alone together for the first time as a married couple.Iit was great to stay on for the first dance and beyond, as i also captured so many great shots of the happy couple relaxed with friends and family, and as a surprise wedding present the mobile party studio was put up for them to have some hilarious, fun shots of them with there guests, a truly memorable day.
